(up to 12 people per course)

Suitability: This course is ideal for those working in forestry environments including forestry workers, arborists, vegetation clearance, tree planting & Forestry Commission work. This course is the national standard in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW+f) and meets the requirements of staff or contractors working for the Forestry Commission.

  • Safe use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

  • Managing Anaphylactic shock

  • Bleeding
  • Common workplace injuries
  • Dealing with crush injuries
  • Dealing with Hypothermia
  • Drowning
  • Recognising and treating fractures
  • Dealing with catastrophic bleeding (haemostatic dressings & tourniquet)
  • Amputation
  • Lyme disease
  • Knowledge of contents of a first aid kit.
